Psalm 34:18
“The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
This verse reminds us that God is near to those who are experiencing heartbreak. In times of pain and sorrow, He is there to comfort and heal us.
When our spirits are crushed, we can find solace in the knowledge that God saves. He has the power to lift us up and restore our broken hearts.
Psalm 147:3
“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”
God is not only close to the brokenhearted but also offers healing. He has the ability to mend our brokenness and bring wholeness to our hearts.
Just as a skilled physician binds up physical wounds, God is the ultimate healer who tends to our emotional wounds with gentleness and care.
Isaiah 61:1
“The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me because the LORD has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners.”
This verse prophesies about the mission of Jesus, who was anointed by God to bring hope and healing to the brokenhearted.
Jesus came not only to bind up our broken hearts but also to set us free from the captivity of pain and darkness. Through Him, we can experience true liberation and the joy of redemption.
Psalm 147:2
“The LORD builds up Jerusalem; he gathers the exiles of Israel.”
Just as God gathers the exiles of Israel, He also gathers the brokenhearted and restores them.

Psalm 34:17
“The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles.”

Zechariah 9:11

Psalm 73:26

Psalm 30:5

In our brokenness, we may experience moments of sorrow and weeping. However, God’s favor and joy will eventually replace our tears.
Though the night may be long, God’s promise of joy and restoration will come in the morning, bringing us comfort and hope.
Psalm 51:17
“My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart you, God, will not despise.”
God values a broken spirit and a contrite heart. When we approach Him with humility and sincerity, He receives our brokenness and promises not to reject us.
Our willingness to acknowledge our brokenness before Him opens the door for His healing and transformation to take place in our lives.
John 14:27
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”

Psalm 46:1
“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.”
God is our safe haven and a source of strength in times of trouble and brokenness.
He is always with us, ready to provide comfort, guidance, and support. We can find security and restoration in His unfailing presence.
2 Corinthians 4:8-9
“We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.”
In our brokenness, we may face various challenges and hardships. However, through Christ, we find the strength to endure, as we are never defeated or abandoned by God.
Despite the trials we face, our faith in Christ enables us to rise above, clinging to the hope of His restoration and victory.
Psalm 42:11
“Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.”

Psalm 23:4

2 Corinthians 1:3-4

God, in His great compassion and comfort, does not leave us in our brokenness but equips us to comfort others who are also going through difficult times.

Isaiah 41:10
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
In times of brokenness, God reassures us that we need not be afraid or dismayed. He promises to be with us, providing strength, help, and upholding us with His righteous hand.
With God by our side, we can face any trial with confidence, knowing that He is faithful to sustain and restore us.
Psalm 32:10
“Many are the woes of the wicked, but the LORD’s unfailing love surrounds the one who trusts in him.”
Those who place their trust in God amidst brokenness are surrounded by His unfailing love.
The troubles and woes of the wicked do not have the final say in their lives, for the love of the LORD encompasses and guards those who rely on Him.
John 16:33
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
Jesus, who has overcome the brokenness of the world, assures us that we can find peace in Him despite the troubles we face.
Though brokenness is inevitable in this world, we can take heart, knowing that Jesus has already triumphed over every obstacle, and in Him, we too can find restoration and victory.
Psalm 147:5
“Great is our Lord and mighty in power; his understanding has no limit.”
God, our Lord, is not only great and mighty but also possesses infinite understanding.
In our brokenness, we can trust that God fully comprehends our pain and sorrow, and in His wisdom, He works to bring healing and restoration to our lives.
Galatians 6:2
“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way, you will fulfill the law of Christ.”
As we walk through seasons of brokenness, we are encouraged to support and uplift one another, sharing one another’s burdens.
By extending compassion and empathy, we demonstrate the love of Christ and fulfill His commandment to love one another as He has loved us.
