What Does The Bible Say About Battles
Exodus 14:14
“The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”
This verse reminds us that we don’t have to face battles alone. God is our mighty warrior who fights on our behalf. Sometimes, all we need to do is be still and trust in His power and deliverance.
Deuteronomy 20:4
“For the Lord your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory.”
God promises to be with us and fight our battles. He will stand against our enemies and grant us victory. We can take comfort in knowing that we have a powerful and victorious God on our side.
Psalm 18:39
“You armed me with strength for battle; you humbled my adversaries before me.”
When we rely on God’s strength, He equips us for the battles we face. He empowers us to overcome our adversaries and humbles them before us. With God on our side, we can face any battle with confidence.
Psalm 20:7
“Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.”

Isaiah 41:10

Isaiah 54:17

2 Chronicles 20:15
“Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s.”
When faced with overwhelming opposition, we need not be afraid or discouraged. The battle belongs to God, and it is He who will fight on our behalf.
Romans 8:31
“What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?”
When we have the assurance of God’s presence and support, we can confidently face any battle. If the Almighty God is on our side, no force or adversary can stand against us.
2 Corinthians 10:4
“The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.”

Ephesians 6:12

Ephesians 6:13

We must remain vigilant and mentally aware of the enemy’s tactics. He seeks to devour and destroy, but we can resist him by standing firm in our faith. We take solace in the fact that we are not alone in our battles, as other believers also face similar challenges.
1 John 4:4
“You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.”
As children of God, we have already overcome the challenges and battles of this world. The indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit empowers us to conquer, as the greater One resides within us.
Revelation 12:11
“They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.”
We can achieve victory in our battles through the blood of Christ and the power of our testimony. By surrendering our lives and embracing the call to follow Christ, we can overcome any obstacle, even if it means sacrificing our earthly lives.
Revelation 17:14
“They will wage war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will triumph over them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings—and with him will be his called, chosen and faithful followers.”
In the ultimate battle between good and evil, the Lamb of God will emerge victorious. Jesus, as the Lord of lords and King of kings, will conquer all opposition alongside His faithful followers.
Revelation 19:11
“I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice, he judges and wages war.”
In the final battle, Jesus returns as the rider on a white horse. He is faithful, true, and just, and He engages in a righteous war to judge and bring justice to the earth.
Revelation 21:4
“He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”
In the culmination of all battles, God promises a future where all pain, sorrow, and suffering will be eradicated. We can find hope in knowing that one day, battles will be a thing of the past, replaced by eternal peace and joy.
