Proverbs 11:24
“One person gives freely, yet gains even more; another withholds unduly, but comes to poverty.”
This verse highlights the principle of generosity. Those who give freely and generously will ultimately receive more blessings in return. On the contrary, those who withhold and are stingy will ultimately face poverty.
God calls us to be generous with our resources, time, and love, for when we freely give, we open ourselves up to receive abundantly from His hand.
Proverbs 22:9
“The generous will themselves be blessed, for they share their food with the poor.”
This verse emphasizes that those who are generous and share their resources with the poor will be blessed by God. It encourages us to not only provide for our own needs but also to have a heart of compassion for those less fortunate.
